Jovan has been studying the art of style for over 29 years, going back to when he was a young apprentice in his home country of Serbia. After working in top-rated salons across the globe, he established himself in Honolulu in 2009 as an advanced stylist for locals and visitors alike. With the opening of Le Monde Salon in 2019, his lifetime dream has come true. A continuous learner, Jovan regularly returns to Europe to bring back new ideas and techniques for his clients. Outside of the salon, Jovan lives an active lifestyle as a Kakaako resident. 

Carmen has called Hawai‘i her home since she was 5-years-old, when her Mexican parents first moved to Oahu from Southern California for work. Carmen is a 

Certified Level 1 Rëzo Cuts + Rëzo Lites Stylist and takes pride in her work ethic  perfecting her trade across all disciplines—including extensions, color corrections, men’s haircuts, and balayage. She believes everyone deserves to have the healthiest hair, and she will gladly provide tips to help her clients maintain and style their hair at home. She also follows the latest trends and is always up for a challenge. When Carmen is not hard at work, she enjoys spending time at home in Kailua and with her family who live close-by in Waimanalo. 

Jade was born and raised on the beautiful island of Oahu. After completing her cosmetology license at Honolulu Community College, she continued her education and refinement of skills at LeMonde Salon under the mentorship of owner, Jovan Artiko.
 

With an open mind and deep appreciation for beauty in all forms, she is committed to helping her clients feel confident, seen and inspired.

Outside of the salon, Jade is passionate about running and spending time with her three energetic nephews.

Whether she is perfecting a hair style or hitting the pavement, Jade brings dedication and enthusiasm to everything she does.

A native Hawaiian with a “local mix” of Polynesian roots, Lena was born and raised in Oahu. She has worked as a professional stylist for more than 10 years. Lena is a Certified Level 1 Rëzo Cuts + Rëzo Lites Stylist, who enjoys playing with color and cuts that highlight clients’ natural textures. She takes care to listen to her clients so she can help them find a look is inspired by their personality and matches their lifestyle. Outside of the salon, Lena likes to island-hop or join her family for celebrations at the beach. She also believes that every woman should find time to relax and pamper, including herself.

Cristi is a Filipina/Hapa, raised on Oahu/California. 

Cristi started building her career in 2009 under former Vidal Sassoon instructor, Rowena Hiraga. While continuing her hair education with Davines, Cristi refined her skills as an educator, color correction specialist and ultimately a color expert.

Cristi recently transitioned from working in NYC & San Francisco! You can find her full-time behind the chair at Le Monde Salon! Cristi is intentional with her clients, ensuring each person’s vision is taken into account for transformations large and small. Specializing in all styles and empowering all people to feel confident in their identity. Cristi aims to create a safe place for self expression in her practice.

Sarah was born and raised right here on Oahu and currently living in Kaneohe. Sarah absolutely loves everything about the East side of the island.

Sarah is working towards getting her cosmetology license, driven by a passion for hair and a desire to turn it into a career! When not focused on her goals, Sarah enjoys spending time with friends, hitting the gym to stay healthy, and soaking in the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets that Hawaii has to offer.

Sarah thrives on interacting with people and uplifting those around them. With a mission to inspire others, Sarah encourages everyone to take that leap of faith and pursue their dreams, even when it feels a bit scary—because they believe the journey, with all its challenges, is truly worth it in the end!
